YOUR VISIT: Information to Travellers

On arrival for your appointment

•  We endeavour to run our appointments on schedule and we would be grateful if you would arrive a few minutes early for your appointment.

•  Please bring with you a record of any vaccinations administered previously and a record of any medication you are currently taking.

•  On arrival you will be asked to complete a Travel Health Medical Form  (this will include the name and address of your GP).

During your consultation

•  One of our travel health advisors will be pleased to give you individually-tailored travel health advice and information based on your itinerary, any underlying medical condition and your previous vaccination history.

•  At the time of your appointment we will recommend and with your agreement administer any appropriate vaccinations and malaria tablets required for your trip.

•  We will be pleased to also provide you with advice regarding our range of travel health related products such as insect repellent sprays, mosquito nets, medical kits, water purification systems amongst others.

•  Please do not hesitate to ask for any information at any time during your consultation. Our team will always be pleased to be of any assistance.

How to Pay

The Royal Free Travel Health Clinic is a private clinic which operates under the auspices of University College Medical School. As such, you will be required to pay for any vaccinations, malaria tablets or blood tests at the time of the consultation. We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards except American Express. We accept cash but not payment by cheque.

The fee for the travel health consultation is waived if you receive any vaccinations, malaria tablets or have any blood tests at the time of your consultation (this does not include the purchase of Lifestyle, Evexar or Aqua Pura products).

After your consultation

If you have suffered any ill effects following your appointment, please call us for further advice or call your GP.

We very much look forward to seeing you.
